Agent Codes are provided by the carrier, but some agents still experience Agency Code errors even when the correct Agency Code is entered into
SinglePoint Settings. This is often caused by mergers/acquisitions that change codes.
If the agent confirms the correct Agency Code is in SinglePoint Settings, and they still have the "Invalid Producer Code" error, here is what they need to do:
Check to make sure that under the options tab in the quote that you uncheck the box with the agent code and then change a coverage in the quote and then click on the agent code box under options again and recalculate the premium and it should be fixed. He said to make sure that the agent code under the options tab matches the agent code under the agency code section under singlepoint settings.
