Password managers such as LastPass
,RoboForms
, Norton Keeper
or CyberArk
...as well as most other non-browser password managers do not work well within the SinglePoint Settings --> Carrier Credentials environment.
This is due to the nature of a password manager.
They are designed to save one user ID and one password per Domain or Web site. This works fine in most instances of day to day working, but on a site like SinglePoint Settings --> Carrier Credentials, you have many "Carrier" user ID's and Passwords, all saved under one web site.
In this instance, these password managers can cause errors in SinglePoint Rating such as...
- Authentication errors
- Agency code errors
- Submission issues etc.
This is easily avoided by turning off the password manager for your SinglePoint Settings site.
Below, you will find links to each managers site with directions on how to turn it off for a singular site.
If you don't see the directions for your manager, or don't understand how to turn it off, please contact your IT department for instructions.
